Olympia Electronics BS-657 / A Thermal Differential Detector
The BS-657 / A is a conventional smoke detector that incorporates optical and thermal detection functions. It can detect smoke and heat. The detector gives an alarm when the smoke concentration reaches 0.107dB / m as well as when the temperature reaches 57oC. Also, the detector gives an alarm when the temperature rises sharply by 32oC regardless of the initial temperature before the rise.
Description
Conventional smoke detectors consist of two parts, the plastic base mounted on the roof and the main body of the detector that fastens to the base with a simple rotation to the right.
The detectors have an LED light which stays on continuously in case of smoke detection until a cancellation order is given by the panel that is connected.
In normal operation the LED flashes every 4 seconds.
Conventional smoke detectors can be connected to conventional fire detection panels.
