The term LPG refers to any product consisting essentially of a mixture of some of the following hydrocarbons: propane, propene (propylene), regular butane, isobutane, isobutylene, butene (butylene) and ethane. These hydrocarbons are gases under normal atmospheric conditions, which are usually liquefied under pressure for transport and storage. LPG, the liquefied butane contained in known bottles, and the flue gas, which consists of liquefied gases derived from coal distillation, are known types of LPG.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Liquefied petroleum gas, also known by the international term LPG, short for liquefied petroleum gas, consists of light fractions of crude oil, which are gases when under normal atmospheric conditions of pressure and temperature. These gaseous hydrocarbon fractions are separated from the liquid fractions during the refining in argon and go to storage tanks for other uses, while the liquid fractions are used for the preparation of liquid fuels (diesel, gasoline, etc.). The term LPG also refers to fractions that are removed from natural gas before it is consumed. These fractions are liquid when under high pressure. Essentially, LPG is a mixture of propane and butane which either comes from argon or comes from the drying of natural gas.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

LPG is produced at the refinery, transported in special tanks and stored in metal cylindrical tanks in liquid form. LPG has been known for many years to the Greek consumer in the form of a bottle, which is used especially at home (cooking, heating). The \"LPG\" gas, that is, the one that is stored in the tank of each customer, is addressed mainly for professional use. In recent years and after the regulation K.Y.A. 31856\/2003 and household consumers have the opportunity to benefit from the advantages of LPG. First of all, the LPG installation must be done by an experienced technician, with a license for LPG installations, as a small mistake is enough to cause great damage. Additionally it should:
Install the safety valves on the tank and before inserting the pipe into the building.<\/p>

  • Install LPG detectors for leaks.<\/li>
  • Install pressure reducers for proper boiler operation.<\/li>
  • For the installation of LPG in homes or for professional use, you need a tank analogous to the mechanical study of losses that has been done to install the LPG tank with the correct capacity in kilos.<\/li>
  • The tank should be installed based on the K.Y.A. regulation 31856\/2003, where it should be installed in a safe place and away from buildings and especially with the right fuses to finally install adequate fire safety.<\/li>
  • Then you need the right LPG boiler with the specific KW as it has emerged from the study of Heat Losses.<\/li>
  • Finally, a high pressure pump must be used to transport the LPG to the boiler. Approved valves, detectors, insurance. In any other case, if the materials are economical, there is a large case of gas leakage.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
